If you searched "prenatal yoga" and ended up here, welcome! I'm Lindsay, creator of Move Well for Pregnancy. I'd love to share how I teach sessions with pregnant people and why it's different than prenatal yoga.

What is Prenatal Yoga?

Prenatal Yoga classes are a great chance to move and connect to your body, your breath and your baby. All classes and teachers are different, however most prenatal yoga classes include gentle movement and stretches with a focus on breathing. Prenatal Yoga is a great time to relax your body and maybe even connect with other moms.

What are Move Well for Pregnancy sessions?

Move Well for pregnancy sessions focus on how capable you are during pregnancy. Instead of avoiding positions and movements, we focus on all the amazing ways you can and should move your body during pregnancy to: maintain neutral posture, continue strengthening your core, create space at each level of the pelvis and prepare the body for birth with pelvic floor awareness.

What do Prenatal Yoga and Move Well for Pregnancy Sessions Have in Common?

Both types of movement offer a chance to focus on your body and your breath. Prenatal yoga uses gentle movements and stretches to do this, and Move Well for Pregnancy sessions do this through intentional exercise, mobility and breathing techniques.

What are the Benefits of Move Well for Pregnancy Sessions?

The benefits of Move Well for Pregnancy sessions are HUGE! Most clients say they learn more about their body during prenatal sessions than they did in school. Clients consistently report feeling more empowered about their pregnancy and birth as well as having smoother postpartum recoveries.
