Group Movement Classes in Pismo Beach
Join Lindsay to improve your overall mobility, posture and strength with her classes grounded in biomechanics- which combines knowledge from anatomy, physiology, kinesiology. As we move together, we learn about our body, how it moves, and gain better body awareness. Classes are adaptable and functional and will serve you well during your prehab/rehab phase. Group classes are all located outdoors in Pismo Beach. Enjoy the ocean view as you learn to move better for life.

Why are Lindsay's classes different from yoga?
When you join a class with Move Well with Lindsay, Lindsay will change the way you think about movement.
With a new focus each week, you're always learning and experiencing something new for your body. These classes will get you moving in all the functional ways, while giving support and adaptations to meet your needs.
If you're an athlete (or gym enthusiast) think of it as cross training (education and new ways of moving) to help keep you mobile, move with less pain and recovery time, so you can continue to enjoy your movement hobbies, tasks and life in general.
For example, if you are an avid cyclist, Lindsay will help you cross train with hip strength and mobility to balance out the movement demands of cycling. Most exercise, sports and physical hobbies (running, hiking, etc) all have our body moving in the sagittal plane, (flexion, extension) to counterbalance that, she will help you learn to do movements in the frontal plane (abduction and adduction) to keep the body better balanced and less prone to injury from overuse.
Do you garden and bend down a lot? Lindsay will help teach you proper body mechanics like hip hinging so you don't overuse and rely your lower back muscles to bend and reach.
Lindsays classes are all about teaching you how to move your body so you can ENJOY LIFE!
